We understand that any meaningful work in protecting the environment requires both feet on the ground.

It is also a constant process of learning from those who have witnessed environmental issues unfold firsthand, and made consistent efforts to address problems at the grassroots level.

With this in mind, we have compiled detailed accounts from community organizers, activists, policymakers and litigants through audio and video recordings.

These accounts cover a wide range of environmental-social-regulatory issues, including cumulative impact, access to environmental information and justice, river and mountain ecosystems, representation of women in environmental decision-making, public health, judicial and executive performance, and environmental movements.
